The sun was setting by the time Sherlock made up his mind. He went to the front of the ship, smiling faintly when he saw that John was at the very front of the ship, his shirt billowing in the wind. Sherlock was able to get close to John without the other man realizing it, and he leaned in close to John, speaking into his ear.
“I’ve thought about it.”
Sherlock AU: A few months after Sherlock passed away John finds a letter addressed to him, on the day which would have been Sherlock’s birthday.

I just… Is anyone else rather upset that they won’t be able to play ‘Joan Watson’ as the fem!version of John in this fandom without people thinking you like that rubbish? It’s just so…So flat and..Bleeeeech.
